PREPARE FOR THE  U.S. CUSTOMS BROKER EXAMINATION

We periodically offer our preparation course for the  U.S. Customs Broker examination. 

All classes are taught by Dan Curry, an attorney and licensed customs broker. The course provides an in-depth review of applicable laws, regulations and topic areas covered on prior customs broker examinations, as well as provide effective test-preparation strategies and techniques. 

Students must purchase copies of the most recent version of the Code of Federal Regulations on Customs Duties (19 CFR Parts 1 to 199, volumes 1 and 2) (the paperback version is preferred).  Contact the U.S. Government Bookstore to purchase: http://bookstore.gpo.gov/.  You must also buy the loose-leaf version of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States.  Contact the U.S. Government Printing Office to purchase: http://www.gpo.gov/.  Please review the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s website for examination requirements: http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/trade/trade_programs/broker/broker_exam/.

Prior customs experience is helpful but not necessary.
